Merry Christmas!

This month has gone way too fast! We didn't do all of our normal traditions but got some of them in. The boys enjoyed their hunt this morning and had a great Christmas!
Jack got his full suspension mountain bike! He had to bring it inside to thaw so he could feel the full suspension properly lol He has been saving his money to buy this bike and I was so nervous he was going to get there before Christmas but he was still a couple hundred short.
He's been wanting to build a PC for a year now so he was really excited to get some of the parts and now he can put his money towards the brain of the computer.  His cousin Carmelo sent him this stuff
We got him the tower
Kaleb got a new, lighter, BMX bike!
He's also been wanting an electric scooter that goes 30mph and was so surprised to see that he got it!
Carmelo didn't leave him out.  🙂
They were two happy boys!
Josh was able to Skype while we opened presents and that made us really happy. We are so ready for him to come home!

December 2022

Kaleb got a Geode kit and the kids had fun smashing them!

Josh has been in Africa since August. He sent me this picture of his new girlfriend.  I laughed so hard and told him he looks happier than he been in a long time.  You can tell by the look on his face that he thought he was so funny! 😂
They are growing up too fast!

The boys think I'm crazy because I organize their legos every so often.  I decided to haul them downstairs and do it while I was watching Christmas movies!

Today was the Christmas race.  Kaleb wanted to race, even with his cast on.  I really didn't want him to, but I've been scared that he wouldn't want to get back in a bike after breaking his wrist so I told him he could participate but couldn't race hard.
Jack won his race!
Kaleb and his buddy Knox
Santa and the Grinch!
Gingerbread decorating!

Kaleb got his cast off today.  He has to wear a brace for a month but at least he can shower normally again!
They had their first sleepover at the Meckley's. They were so excited!

Our 2nd annual Grinch Pancake & Cookie Decorating! No crafts this year! 😂😂
The Beauregard's are in NH spending Christmas with family so we missed them but the Blairs are here this year and Miss Holly Made the cookies!
Willie is excited!
Jack, Kip, Kaleb, & Kenny
Deployment Christmas's are always hard, but Josh upped the scavenger hunt to make this one more fun. As the boys get older, you know, things get more expensive so obviously there are less of them. I don't know how excited they will be roaming around the neighborhood looking for their clues in these freezing temperatures, but I know the end result will be worth it! Josh wrote all the clues and I decorated the envelopes and placed them all today. A big thanks to all my neighbors who let me use their mailboxes, sheds, and other hiding spots! I can't wait to send them on this journey!

We went back to WV to spend New Years. Danni got sick as soon as she got to the house.
The only way she would sleep.
She perked up on New Years Eve and was able to play with the kids.
She's funny
