Tummy Time

He has been raising his head for about a month now but everyday he cries and whines while he does it. Today was the first time he was so happy during tummy time and I think he actually enjoyed it!

This is his new favorite thing to do. It makes it so easy to change his diaper! NOT!!!

He is getting so long

When we decided to try to have a baby I told Josh that I was excited cause your kids have to love you. Now I know that i was right! I love when my little man lights up when he sees me!

I think it has been snowing for about 3 months now but last week it rained for 3 days and melted it all and I was excited. I'm ready for the snow to go away. Well it's at it again! It has been snowing for 3 or 4 days and I think it is supposed to keep snowing until next weekend. My neighbor got home last night about 9pm and his vehicle was clear so this is how much we got last night.

Mommy's Night Out!!!

I guess I should have titled it Mommy's two hours out. I am in charge of Activity Days at Church and since Jack has been going to bed between 6:30 and 7:00 I didn't want to mess that up so I had two of my friends come over and have dinner and stay with Jack. He was so good. I told them that he should sleep the whole time I was gone but he totally took advantage of then cause they love to hold him and play with him so when I got home they were both huddled over the swing trying to get him to sleep. It was so cute. They said "sorry he's awake but he hasn't cried!" lol Jack loves Annie and Mariana so I wasn't worried at all about him crying the whole time. After i got home I took my big boy and changed him and swaddled him and told him he had to go to sleep now and mommy love you and I put him in his pack and play and he went to sleep! I didn't even have to go back in and put the bink in at all!!! We have done this for two nights now and I'm praying that it lasts!!!

Daddy let Mommy buy a new stroller so we could go for walks. Well, it's new to us. We found it on the yard sale website for a third of the original price. Our other one has plastic wheels and it's good for the mall and stuff but not the paths around here. I love gettin' all bundled up and going out!!!

First Play Date

Jack had his first play date today with his friend Jacob! I met Jacob's mom Tanya while I was pregnant and we have become pretty good friends. Her husband is gone a lot too so It is nice for us to get together so we can have adult conversations! lol I feel like all I do is make baby noises and dance and sing. Oh if you could be a fly on my wall you would laugh sooo hard!

Today I was at the WIC office visiting my friend who works there and we put Jack on the scale and he is now 14lbs and 8oz and 26 1/4 inches long. He is sleeping really well now. He goes to sleep between 7:30 and 8:00 and doesn't get up until 5 or 6am! I rock him to sleep and sometimes he wakes up crying so I go get him and rock until he goes back to sleep and I do that until he doesn't wake up anymore. Well, last night I let him fuss a little then finally went and got him and rocked him to sleep. Tonight I put him down he cried a little I went in put his bink back in and that was it!!!!! I'm so proud of myself for not going and picking him up when he was crying!!!!

3 Months Old!!!!!

Today while i was taking pictures Jack rolled over from his tummy to his back in both directions!!!! Luckily I already had the camera on him cause once I got the video camera out he wouldn't do it again.

There is a showing running on TV right now called Two weeks in Hell. it is about the selection process for the Green Beret's. It's pretty intense and really makes you respect these men. I know I didn't know how hard it was and all they have to do just to be selected. That's what separates the Green Beret's from the rest of the Army, they don't brag about what they do. Anyway this show is 2 hours long and Jack stayed in his bouncy seat and watched it for an hour and 30 min, then he got hungry. It was so cute. I guess he is already preparing for selection. If you see it on you should watch it. It really is a great show.

I'm not used to all this hair on my husbands face but I have to admit I'm kinda diggin' it! :) He is so proud of his beard because he quit shaving the day Jack was born so it's as old as our son.
