Jack's frist field trip

Today Jack's preschool went on a field trip to the Fire Station. He has been excited all week and kept saying "I'm going to see grandpa at the fire station" :) I kept telling him that grandpa didn't work at the station we were going to but he would just say "yep, i'm going to see grandpa" I'm just glad he didn't get mad when he didn't see him. It was a fun trip but of course while all the other kids were doing as they were told and following the fire fighter around the station Jack found this old fire truck and was looking at it.

Yes Kaleb got to go too but he wasn't as interested in the fire trucks as he was the Rhino

After we were done in the fire station Miss Tami had cookies for everyone. :)

Last weekend we went to Albuquerque for Skyler's wedding and silly me didn't take a camera. I took this one with my camera and the reason it is so blurry is because he was a dancing machine LOL Once they started the music he didn't stop.

And there's another baby on the way :)

Mariana is expecting her first child due Jan 10. I know it's super early to have her shower but Annie is leaving for the rest of the year and with Sam already gone it just wouldn't be the same without her.

Jack's First Day of Preschool

He was so excited to go to school. He has been asking for weeks and last night when I was putting him to bed I said "guess what? you get to go to school tomorrow" He looked at me and said "Great"
His teacher said he did really good and didn't misbehave at all. I'm so proud of my little man

Daddy is 28!

We started the day off with homemade crepes. I was so happy they turned out good cause Josh has been asking me to make them for a long time.
Josh wanted Dunkin Donuts instead of a cake this year so we got them but Jack decided he wanted them for breakfast instead of crepes.
This year it was super hard to figure out what to get him. A few years ago I got him a press for reloading and he always talks about doing it but never gets the stuff so I decided to get him all he needs to reload his 45.

We had Dan, Cindy, Devyn, and Ben over for dinner and they brought these yummy cakes. I made his favorite rotini with cheeses and meat sauce. The sauce was easy this year cause I had my mom to make it before she left and we froze it so all I had to do was pull it out :)

I love that the boys are playing with each other :)

I know I always wait till the boys are older to let them start feeding themselves but I just don't like the mess. I let Kaleb feed himself oatmeal the other day and he did really good.

Brownies from scratch!

That's right we had brownies from scratch at the Jones home on Sunday night! The sad thing is Josh made them haha We had taken two cars to church in case Kaleb got cranky and he did so Josh brought him home and Jack and I stayed and when I got home he had these brownies ready to go in the oven. They were delicious!!!

Happy Fall Y'all

That's right it's Sept 1 so it's Fall to me!! It's my favorite time of year so I make it last as long as I can. We decorated on Saturday and I think I've been in a good mood ever since haha

Last year Annie made us all wreaths for our doors because we had all just moved into new homes but by the time we got unpacked and settled it was to late in the year to hang a fall wreath so I was so excited to hang it this year. I love this wreath :)

Jack wanted me to take his picture too. I have no idea what is up with his hands haha

boys and toys

After 4 years of talking about getting this gun Josh finally got his sniper riffle. It's a big hit around here but he hasn't shot it yet cause he doesn't have the scope for it yet which cost as much as the gun so who knows when he will get it.
My little turd!! this kid is really going to give me a nervous break down haha

Our Garden

In April we planted 5 tomato plantes and 1 banana pepper plant and this is the result so far. :) We weren't sure how thing would grow around here or if we could even keep them alive but we are really happy with our first garden. We have gotten so many tomatoes and peppers. I've been cutting the peppers up and freezing them so at the end of the year I can pickle them and have jars of mild banana peppers all winter long. The grape tomatoes are doing way better than the "big" ones so next year we think we will only plant the grape ones.
This is just what I picked on Saturday
No that big one isn't off our big tomato plant it is one of the grape ones. Crazy huh
