I think Jack is going to be a hat man. Josh had this top hat out the other day and Jack found it on Monday and won't take it off.
The other night Jack was watching team umizumi, his favorite show right now, and when I came down from putting in a load of laundry this is how I found him. I think he is relaxed LOL
This morning Jack wanted to help me feed Kaleb his waffle. I love that the boys are interacting with each other now.
Kaleb had his 9mo check up on Monday and he is 16 pounds 3oz (less than 5%) and 27in long (5-10%) He is motor skills and communication skills are exactly where they should be and he is in a way better mood these days since we upped his reflux medicine. This is the only place he will nap during the day and it's only like 20 to 30 min twice a day :/

Happy Birthday to Mommy
I turned 29 this year which means I'm almost 30. Normally this isn't a big deal but I remember being 16 and making fun of Kelly saying 30 was old and she said to me "you're going to wake up tomorrow and be 30" We've joked about it all these years but holly crap that's next year!!! This is my birthday gift from Josh. It took me forever to pick out one I loved so he has been telling me that I took more time thinking about and choosing a pistol than I did marrying him. LOL
Kaleb is doing so much better since they upped his medicine. He is so happy during the day and, i almost hate to say it cause i'm afraid i'll jinks it, Wed night he went to bed at 6 and didn't wake till 4am. Actually he didn't even wake I went in and woke him up to check on him so I went on and fed him then he slept till 7 and last night he went to bed at 6 and didn't wake till 1am to eat which i'm totally fine with. I sure hope our sleepless nights are over.
Jack cracks me up so much. Yesterday he found this hat of Josh's and wore it around all day. He is so silly

Aspen
Last weekend we went on a marriage retreat with our team to Aspen. It was a great weekend. by the end of it I found myself missing my kids. They provided childcare during all the classes so we didn't really see them that much. The theme of the weekend was "our 2050 plan" We had to fill out a paper answering questions about 2050 like where will we be living, how many kids will you have, what kind of house, etc. then we did it for 2030, 2015 and 2012. It was interesting to see how much your goals change as you get older. I really enjoyed the weekend and the resort we stayed at was awesome.
Pictures from the Resort we stayed at.
Kaleb getting ready to play in the snow. The funny thing about this picture is he was sitting in the floor screaming then as soon as he saw the camera, or me, he started smiling.

Saturday night they provided childcare from 5:30 to 9:30 so we could go on dates. We ended up going to dinner with two other couples from the team which was great cause it gave me a change to get to know some of the wives.

Happy New Year!!
It was very different being in the states for new years this year. We really missed watching all of our German neighbors let off fireworks. We still had a lot of fun though. We went bowling with Dan Cindy and Devyn.
Jack ate candy all night :)
I'm not sure why but Josh bowled with his pants cuffed all night and looked like a big goober haha
