Happy New Year!

2010 was a good year even though Josh was gone 8 and a 1/2 months of it. Jack and I REALLY got to know each other and I don't know what I would have done if my mom didn't come over for three months. The sad thing is 2011 is shaping up the same way with Josh leaving in a few weeks for Afghanistan again but this time Mom gets to come for 6 months and help out with both kids. I'm really trying to stay positive and I keep reminding myself that we SHOULD be moving back to the states in Sept. I can't wait! I really love Germany but I really miss the convenience of Wal-Mart haha and everything else in the states not to mention everyone there can understand me :)
I Love New Years Eve in Germany! Dec 31 and Jan 1 are the only days in the year that fireworks and legal and let me tell ya the Germans really take advantage of it. It's like a professional firework show on our street!

We celebrated New Years with Sam, John, Mariana, and Geoff. I told Josh we are really getting old cause all we did was sit around and eat and play games HAHA

He wanted us to match :)

Merry Christmas

Jack was so confused this morning when we set him down in front of the tree and kept telling him to go play. He kept looking at the toys then back at me and Josh like Can I Really Touch Them???? I guess he is so used to us telling him not to touch things that he just didn't get it. He set there for like 5 min and didn't move.

He finally moves in!

My aunt Jody sent Jack these two John Deere tractors and he Loves them!!

I've always wanted a real pearl necklace and Josh got me some this year!!!! I love them! They are sooo beautiful!! Now if I just had somewhere to wear them. They do look really good with my PJ's if I do say so myself hehe

Thanks Grandma Sandy for my cool tent!!!! Mommy and I are having all kinds of fun in it. We haven't gotten a picture of daddy in it yet but YES he has been in the tent :)

Now to clean up the mess and cook dinner!

Ho Ho Ho

Since Josh was gone and Jack was only a month and a half old last Christmas Santa didn't visit us so this is the first year for that and I can't wait to see Jack's face in the morning when he sees all his new cool stuff!!!!

Monday when I checked the forecast it was calling for sun on Christmas Eve and Christmas which made me sad cause it has been snowing for a month and a half then got warm this week and melted it. So you can imagine how happy I have been today to see all this snow and it's not supposed to stop until after Christmas!

We had our Christmas Eve dinner at Cheryl's house tonight and it was so fun. This was the first time in a long time that all of our husbands were here to join us as well. I seriously don't know what I would do without these girls.

Annie's Christmas Party

Last Sunday Annie had a Christmas party and it was so much fun! We swapped cookies and made panini's and just had a great time with our friends. I think this is the first time all year that all of our husbands were home so it was really nice having everybody there :)

Madison and Jack

Jack's first Rolo cookie. He loved it!!

Saturday while we were at the commissary Santa was there walking through the store giving out gifts. We tried to avoid him cause I didn't want Jack to get scared but he found us in the check out line. Jack didn't cry but he still didn't smile.

Jack's First Haircut

Monday, Dec 20th, we decided to give Jack his first haircut. He was happy for about a second but he doesn't like being held down so when Josh was trying to hold his head still he freaked out so after Josh cutting over the left ear I stepped in and cut the rest. He jerked and screamed the whole time so it is really uneven but I'm just glad it is out of his eyes. I laughed so hard cause I wouldn't let Josh start until I had the movie camera going and then I was busy taking pictures and Jack was screaming so he looked at me and said can you help me??? LOL then he said "are you sure we should be filming this??" I thought it was funny :)

He definitely doesn't like getting his hair cut LOL

All Better!

Yesterday we went to the Christmas market in Esslingen which is the coolest market in our area. All the workers dressed up in clothes from the medieval times. We love going to the markets here even though we usually never buy anything the food is worth the trip :)

Annie and I at the Christmas Market

This is the coolest ferris wheel I've ever seen. Two guys actually had to turn it with their hands

Snow!!!

It has still been snowing a lot lately so we decided to take Jack sledding today. This is the first time he has been out to play in the snow. I'm not going to say he loved it but he didn't scream so that's always a plus.

After sledding we watched all the other kids for a while.

Our Tree!

I love Christmas time! I was being all Mrs. Scrooge until today. I guess it just hasn't felt like the holidays with Josh being gone and all but now that he is home and we are settling back I'm feeling better! The only bad thing is I know he is only here about a month so I'm having separation issues already haha I don't even want him to go to work and I have NEVER been like this before. This morning I was telling him about my issues and he looked at me and was like "Do you want to go to work with me???" with a weird look on his face. I bet he would have died if I said YES!!! HAHA

Daddy comes home and we find out we're having another boy!!!!

Josh graduated Ranger School on December 10th. I'm so proud of him but I told him he isn't allowed to volunteer for anymore schools for a long time :) He got home on Monday and we went to the dr. and found out we are having another boy!! We are so excited. I really wanted another boy because I wanted Jack to have a brother that he could grow up with since they are going to be so close in age. I kinda thought it was a girl because this pregnancy has been sooo different so i was extra excited when we saw it was a boy :) We didn't get a picture of it though so I still keep asking Josh "are you sure it was a boy?" LOL

Sandy pinning Josh's Ranger Tab on

Photos from the Demonstration Show before the ceremony. Thanks Carrie for taking them since I couldn't be there :)

This is the best gift Josh could have ever brought me back from the states!!!! I got some in a halloween variety reese's pack but they don't sell them individually and obviously they don't have the halloween packs anymore and I have been craving them soooo bad!!! I love my husband :)

I love this picture :)

Since Jack was only a month and a half old last Christmas I didn't take him to see Santa. I thought for sure he was going to cry when he saw him but he just kept looking at him trying to figure him out :)

Now that daddy is home we finally got to put up our Christmas tree! I'm kinda sad cause this will be the last year I will use my pink ornaments and decorations cause when we move home next year I promised Josh we would get new ones.

Every time we go to the PX we have to go to the pet section. No, we don't have animals but Josh likes to throw Jack into the Dog pillows! haha
