July 2018

My tomatoes are doing amazing this year!
On July 4th Maddy went back to Idaho and Darby came to visit! We took her out on the boat that evening to watch fireworks. We just went right outside our channel and watched the ones from Indian Head over in Maryland.

July 5th the boys and I took Darby to Washington D.C. This was the first time we had ever been down there to do the tourist stuff. it was so hot but we had a good time and saw some cool things!

Kaleb made me laugh because all day we had talked about going to the white house. It was our last stop since we were making a big circle back to the car and when we got there Kaleb started walking to the gate. I was like where are you going Kaleb? and he looked at me so serious and said "To see Mr. Trump." LOL I guess he thought we were just going to walk right in. He got embarrassed once I told him that's not how it works. I then told him that President Trump probably wasn't even there and he's a busy man. That made him ok again. LOL
I always forget that they don't have Lightening Bugs in Idaho so it's so fun watching people catch them for the first time :)

July 7th we spent the day on the river. Josh loves searching the beach for "Treasures" Then we  went down to Stafford and had lunch at Rick's.

Shelby and Ken had went to PA for the 4th of July and brought back some fireworks so we ended the day by setting them off in their back yard.

Darby was only here a week so we spent the rest of the time just hanging out and trying to have fun. It was so fun having our nieces come stay with us this summer. I do miss living out West and being able to visit family more often but at least my boys are getting to know some of their cousins.

The boys went to basketball camp on post this year. They both said they didn't like it but they looked like they were having fun everyday when we could come and get them so who knows lol

Jack's team ended up winning 2nd place in the tournament

We did our annual back to school supplies shopping! This is one of my favorite traditions with the boys 💙

Of course we had a little fun while shopping LOL

Josh finally was able to take the Motorcycle safety course on post so he could start riding his Harley! These are the boys' first motorcycle rides!

We got an email from the breeder letting us know that Sedona had the puppies but there was only 1 boy and there was someone on the list before us for a boy. She gave us the option to take a girl or wait on a later litter or Sedona's or take one of the male's from another litter that was born 2 days after the one we were supposed to get. Since we really wanted a boy and didn't have any ties to Sedona we decided to take one of the boys from Nevada and Jager's litter. We didn't get to pick which puppy we wanted. Our breeder started working with them right away. Since they are hunting dogs she assessed them and gave the ones that showed the most interest in hunting to families that were going to hunt them and ones less active to ones that just wanted family dogs so we won't know which puppy we will get until it's time to bring him home but here are the newborn pics 😍😍
