Alturas Lake

We spent a week at Alturas Lake camping with Josh's parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews.

well, the ones who could make it. Josh's cousins David, who used to live in Colorado when we did, brought his family tool Josh has always said that this is the best place on earth and I can't argue with him on that. We all loved our time here. The boys didn't care for the cold water but loved everything else. We spent the days on the beach, and it was 98 degrees then the evening in sweatpants with a low of 30 at night.

After setting up our campsite, Kaleb decided to be a creeper

When Josh first talked to me about buying a trailer to haul things in, I didn't really want to, but it has been the best thing ever! I have my kitchen space set up so at rest stops I could just jump back there and make sandwiches while Josh was pumping the gas. It has especially been great on the camp trip
The week was so fun! Spending time on the beach and in the water during the day and having snacks by the campfire at night.

Barrett had so much fun chasing the fish

RJ took Jack out fishing and let him drive the boat.

Then he took a bunch of the kids fishing

The guys did some riding with Grandpa

One day we went to this ghost town and then to an old gold dredging boat

We stopped at a fish hatchery on the way back to camp

Oh yeah, there was also lots and lots of boating! Barrett found his spot on Grandpa's boat!

They always say Uncle Josh gives the best tube rides!

I can't forget the fishing!

Of course this is the best to place to get our Idaho dirt. We had an amazing week and can't wait to go back!
