Kaleb's First Birthday Party

We had Kaleb's first birthday party Sat April 14. It was lots of fun. Just family and some close friends. 

 I always thought Jack was a serious baby but at least he would smile for pictures. Not Kaleb!

 Can you tell Josh dressed Jack for the party??? LOL

 He loves the chair auntie Mar got him. He sits in it and watches TV haha

A Fall and the Potty

Grandma and Grandpa Jones came for a few days too to visit with Daddy before he leaves next week. We really enjoyed having them here. Jack also had his first fall off the balcony.

Then Daddy made Jack get on the potty and boy he didn't like it. He just sat there and cried for 30 min. HaHa

Happy Easter

Another Baby Shower :)

This time it was for Annie but you know how Sam and I love to decorate :)

Mariana made the cake. It turned out so cute. We were so proud of her :)

Coloring Eggs

This was the first time Jack had ever colored eggs too. By the time he was finished he was blue all the way to his elbows. 

Easter Egg Hunt

 We had an easter egg hung also. This was Jack's first so he was super excited.

Jack and Taylee searched upstairs and the big boys searched in the basement but we were having so much fun I forgot to take pictures.

After the egg hunt Josh made everyone yummy milkshakes :)

California meets Colorado

Tyson Carrie and the kids came to visit for spring break. We had so much fun i forgot to take a lot of pictures LOL I did get some though :) It snowed their fist night here. I think Trey looks really nice in my boots :)

Kaleb's night in the hospital

On April 2nd Kaleb had to go to the hospital to have some test run which meant we had to spend the night. They had to put him to sleep which broke my heart because they had us go in the procedure room with him until he was out and then they told us that kids react different to anesthesia than adults do. Their brain goes to sleep right away but their bodies take a minute to catch up so he was jerking and I didn't like it! Anyway he had an upper endoscopy which showed that he has a hiatal hernia but it does go back down on it's own for now so he doesn't need surgery "yet" Then they placed a tube in his stomach so they could do a PH impedance study for 23 hrs. He did really good and didn't pull at the tube at all. I was so proud of him. We just got the results to the PH study last week and the Dr. told me that in that 23 hrs he had 111 episodes of reflux and 80% of them were Acidic so basically the medicine isn't working. She said we really have to get this under control before it causes permanent damage.

This was a really nice hospital. Instead of them bringing you breakfast, lunch, and dinner whenever they wanted we had a menu in our room and we could order what we wanted when we wanted, just like room service :)

He finally fell asleep

The hospital also had a toy room right outside our room so that was nice for a change of scenery.

The nurse told me that a normal PH level is 7 and anything below that meant there was acid present. This was Kaleb's numbers after he hadn't had anything to eat in a few hours. Usually the top number was in the 3 and low 4's.

Flying Jack's Kite

Josh bought Jack a kite a few weeks ago and they love going over to the soccer field to fly it :)

Family Day

A few weeks ago we went up to Woodland Park to go shooting. My mom had never shot a gun before so Josh was thrilled to teach her.


They are so good when we go

I can't ever get the skeet to come out of the thrower so i'm the only one that gets to shoot :)
