Our Time in VA

Most of the time spent in VA was checking out different areas to see where we might want to live. It's going to be a hard move but I know we will end up right where we are supposed to be.  I had to put these pics up here because we were at dinner one night and Kaleb was just climbing and Josh and I was just laughing at him and I looked at Jack and he had this look on his face like "If I would do that I would get a spankin" LOL he is right too. Oh that second child

We got these wooden figures at the retreat and the boys enjoyed building with their dad so much

                                                        Washington DC Temple

These silly boys love walking around in daddy's shoes :)
This is Kaleb's new thing. When we spank our kids we always put them in a chair until they stop crying and if they get down they get another spanking. Well, this little jar of spice gets to where his butt is barely on the chair and cries cause he knows we won't spank him again unless he actually gets off.

The National Harbor

One of the many things I love about the Army is how much they focus on families. Before Josh's class started his new corse they sent us on another marriage retreat to the National Harbor. It was so nice and we enjoyed our weekend so much.  They always provide childcare but this time we got so much more free time with each other.
This was our room. I have never been to a place where the hotel was inside another building.  It was crazy.  Needless to say there wasn't much privacy on our balcony suite.

More West Virginia Fun

Josh thought he was hilarious shaving his face like this to go to the freedom festival. He said he has been trained to blend in to his environment and this is what he had to do to fit in Logan. LOL
I know this is going to sound funny to some of you but at home we put Parmesan cheese on our popcorn. Well, lets just say Jack was a big fan HaHa

My boys loved running the excavator with uncle Mello.  Jack spend a few hours a day for about three days in there with Mello while he was tearing down my grandma Artie's house

Today we were looking through old pictures on the hard drive and I showed this one to Jack and told him this was the day we got Kaleb and all he had to say was "Why am I wearing Kaleb's shoes?" LOL I love him

How cute is this???

I found this picture on Josh's phone and had to put it up

Pics of Logan from Josh's Helicopter Ride

I love the hills of West Virginia.

Freedom Festival

the crime watch for the neighborhood.

                                                                      Freedom Festival
This 4year old boy, Gabe, from Logan is fighting cancer and he loves super hero's so the people of logan made sure all of his favorite hero's were there. It was really awesome and he was so excited. First they flew in on the helicopter then landed and came to town and surprised him. It was cute cause all the little kids were stopping Josh to take pictures with Captain America. He was such a good sport and he got a cool ride and an awesome view of Logan.

Of course we had to go visit Gino at work :)
July 4th Josh decided to shave and this is what he left. He said he has been trained to blend into his environment haha I'm so glad he had to get passport photos the next day so it didn't last to long.
We also went to a car show at the freedom festival and after we looked at all the cars Jack asked Josh to take him back and get a picture of him with this car. This is the first time he as ever asked us to take a pic for him :)

Smores

We wanted to go camping in West Virginia while we were here but it has rained everyday so we didn't make it.  One night we did take the boys out back and made smores . It was so much fun. Neither one of them actually liked them but they had a blast making them

swimming!!!

We have been swimming a lot this summer and Jack has gotten so comfortable in the pool. Both the boys love the water

Kaleb and Tripp 2yrs old

Carrie and Tyson came down for memorial day weekend and we took these. I think you can clearly see Tripp is the happy one and Kaleb is the grump :)
