Kaleb turns 5!

I can't believe Kaleb is 5! It's so sad how fast time is going. We didn't have his party today but we invited Alex over to have cupcakes with us and he brought Kaleb an awesome gift. Kaleb LOVES power rangers dino charge and he wants to be the red ranger when he grows up! My mom told the boys that since we're on the east coast now she is going to try and be here for every birthday. I'm glad she was able to spend it with us :)

Grandma Jones sent him this awesome football shirt.
Then we had cupcakes!

April 2016

Daddy came home and when daddy comes home big stuff happens! The boys have been asking for a dirt bike and Josh told them they can't have one until they can ride their bicycles without training wheels. This is something that I didn't want to tackle myself so I let Josh take this one and they were both riding in no time. Kaleb's training wheels were bent so bad that he had learned to ride leaning sideways so this was a problem at first but Josh took the peddles off and he used it as a balance bike for a day then took off when Josh put them back on.

Sooooo........They got a dirtbike!

When we moved from Colorado the people buying our house wanted the trampoline so we left it and hadn't replaced it because Josh never liked how that one held him.  He has been searching for a good one that would bounce him high. He finally found one. this one has fiberglass rods and is very strong and very expensive!!! I about died when I saw how much but he works hard for us so I guess he should be able to play hard :) the kids also love it! our neighbor Kenny was over playing with Kaleb while Josh was putting it up and they couldn't wait to try it out!

Last fall I planed bulbs for the first time ever and the spring ones are in full bloom and look amazing!
Here's some of the fun Kaleb and I have while Jack is in school all day :)

About a year ago Josh started complaining about me snoring. Of course I didn't believe him but he would tell me things like I would sit up and gasp for air when I was asleep and I didn't remember any of it. I finally told my Dr. about it because he said it was happening a lot and I was so sleepy all the time so she sent me to have a sleep study and I have sleep apnea. I was stopping breathing 17 times an hour and never hit stage 3 sleep. So now I get to wear this sexy thing every night!
We also planted our first garden this year. we were so excited! We planted tomatoes, carrots, corn, pumpkin, and squash! Then day after we planted it started raining and it rained 23 days straight! A new record for the state of VA so our garden didn't produce anything. Oh well, better luck next year.

March 2016

Jack is loving kindergarten! He earned the Ernie Eagle Award for this term and was so excited to get to go on stage and get it!
For about a month he was telling me how mad he was because in PE they were making him dance. He was not happy about it! lol Then I got a letter saying they were going to be performing these dances from different countries and the parents were invited. I was so nervous because he kept telling me at home how much he hated it but on dance day he did great!

We went to WV for spring break and Kaleb had his first ER visit for an injure. He was walking off of my mom's porch with his hands in his pockets and tripped and instead of taking his hands out he fell face first on the gravel. Luckily he didn't need stitches!  Uncle Mello got a new side by side so we had fun playing with that!

While we were in WV we colored Easter eggs and Jack made a spaceship with the boxes. I love watching his imagination but also worry about his need to find a use for garbage and not wanting to throw anything away!
