POPCORN!!

Last week we got a popcorn maker at a yard sale for $1. Josh was so excited to go to the store and buy the seeds so he could start popping his own. The boys love to watch it pop and eat it with their dad.

End Of Year Preschool Program

Yesterday was the end of year program for Jack's little preschool. They sang their favorite songs that they had learned this year. Mrs. Tami made a slide show with pictures from the whole year and I almost cried because looking back at the pics of Jack at the beginning of the year he was a baby. I watched him grow up in the slideshow. They all got their completion for the year certificates then she gave each one of them an award unique to them. Jack got the Funny Bone award :)

This was one of the pictures in the slideshow. Jack's answer cracks me up because I can just hear him telling her that because when he doesn't know the answer to something or doesn't want to do something that's what he says.

Happy Mother's Day

I'm so thankful that my Heavenly Father gave me these two boys to raise. They are funny and smart and so fun to be with. This is the first Mother's Day that they have been old enough to do sweet mother's day gifts for me and I love them.

This is Jack's first year in preschool and I remember making fun things at school and being so excited to give them to my mom on mother's day and I was really hoping Jack's teacher would do something for him to give to me and she did. I LOVE IT :)

Success!!

I'm so happy to report that Kaleb's first night in a real bed was great! He was excited when he saw the big bed and went right in and went right to sleep. No getting up and playing or crying. He slept all night without a peep :) I'm so proud of him and happy for me that this transition was a smooth one :)

Kaleb moves to a big boy bed

When Kaleb got up from his nap today he had no idea it would be the last time he would see his crib.
We are moving him to his big boy bed tonight. I will report tomorrow on how our first night went :)

Getting ready for WV

My mom left on Tuesday and we made the mistake of telling Jack that we would see here when we went to Mello's house in a few weeks. Now at least once an hour he says "mom, I think I'm ready to go to Mello's house" He doesn't understand that we still have 3 weeks before we leave. The other day he came downstairs with his backpack and asked me to make a list of what he wanted to put in there. The first thing that had to be on his list was a backpack so I wrote it then he wanted me to draw it also. He is so cute :) So this is the list of stuff he came up with that he wants to put in there.

We printed off a map to Mello's house and Josh took it to work and laminated it. Jack was so excited. I heard him in the kitchen last night reading his list and he said "backpack, CHECK....map CHECK" lol
Kaleb has decided that he likes Jack's backpack and takes it from him and puts it on and looks at Jack and says "MINE" then runs away. He loves torturing his big brother.

Happy 2nd Birthday Kaleb!!

I can't believe my baby is already two!! First thing this morning we gave him this activity board that Josh and I made yesterday. It is a huge hit.

Next we went out to the garage for the BIG surprise.

Do you think Jack is excited???
Then later today we had a few of our close friends over for some pizza and cake. We have the best friends ever and they always spoil us on our birthdays :)

Our little getaway to Denver

Josh and I had the chance to leave the kids with my mom and go to Denver for the day and night! It was so nice to just be together and explore the city without the kids. This is the first time we have ever did this so naturally I called and checked on the A LOT haha

The hotel was so nice

We had never been to the Cheesecake Factory before so that's where we had dinner and it was delicious. We were to full to enjoy our cheesecake there so we brought it back to the room.

Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny visited us Saturday morning and left the boys treats in their baskets and hid more eggs.

And....he's off

They love their new bubble toys
Yes, Kaleb will let Jack do anything to him
