T-Ball

Jack decided he wanted to play T-Ball in the spring. He was on the Redsox and number 2. I was really impressed with the little league and how great the season was.  We were really happy that Josh was here for opening day and Jack's first game :)

                                             

Josh left the next week so the rest of the season we were on our own but Mamaw came so that made Jack really excited!

Fitness Challenge!

Jack had his first fitness challenge at school and he did great! 

Camping in the back yard

Josh was getting ready to head to Iraq for 4 months so we knew we wouldn't be able to do the fun summer stuff with him so he had a camping night with the boys here at home.

Epic Superhero Battle!!

This was definitely the year of super hero's. I don't know how it started because we don't watch them on tv but Jack decided that his favorite was Captain America and Kaleb picked Spiderman. Here is one of their battles at Brixx pizza. Yes we are "those" parents LOL

 

Working Hard

In January Jack told us about a toy cement truck that he wanted so we told him we would give him jobs and he could earn the money for it. He raked, shoveled snow, helped me babysit, and lots of other stuff and let me tell ya we only paid him 1 to 2 dollars for every thing he did so it took a while. I made a chart and he would put a star for every dollar he earned. Finally on April 8th he had enough money. The truck was $30 but we explained to him he had to make more than it cost cause he had to pay tithing on his earnings. He earned more than enough, paid his tithing, and we ordered his truck!

Happy Easter!

Josh came home right before Easter weekend so we decided to go to WV for the four day weekend. The boys love going to WV and it's even better if uncle Mello is working on something and they get to help :)

While we were there uncle Mello gave the boys the four wheeler that Carmelo used to ride when he was a kid. We brought it home put a new battery in it and got going. Kaleb was cracking us up cause he didn't want to ride but he followed them everywhere.
