2 months old!
I can't believe my baby is two months old today! Where is the time going??? I'm not going to lie it has been a rough two months but things are finally getting better. Jack was having such a hard time with his tummy. He had Colic so bad that he would just scream all night long. I felt so bad for him cause I could hear the gas in this tummy and see the pain on his face and there was just nothing I could do. Finally I switched him to soy formula and stopped nursing for a few days and it made such a difference. I started pumping and now I give him a 4oz bottle every time I get one, which usually takes 3 or 4 days. I just don't have it!!! I am so thankful that Josh's team sgt. told him not to be in any hurry to get back to Afghanistan so he gets to stay home a few weeks. Here are the guys in their 3 piece suits this morning before church.
Jack loves his bibs that he got for Christmas from Grandma Sandy! He looks so cute in them.
Here is Jacks first pair of boots! Aren't they so cute! Thanks Grandma Kathy!
So you know while Josh is home I have to sport the West Virginia clothes!

A Day With Daddy
Unfortunately we had a death in Josh's family so on his way to Idaho he had a lay over in Ramstein. We went and spent the night and spent the day with him. I was so excited for him to see Jack. He told me that he thought Jack had grown a lot in the 3 weeks he's been gone. I guess since I am with him everyday I don't see it as much I just feel it in my arms on the days Jack wants me to hold him all day. lolol Here are some pics I took yesterday. I thought they were so sweet.

Merry Christmas!
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Even though I was missing Josh and family terribly today I was so excited for Jack's first Christmas. I know he isn't going to remember it but it was still exciting. We went to the Purdy's for dinner and it was fantastic. They had so much wonderful food and goodies I don't think I need to eat for like two days I'm so full :)
My mom got Jack this dog for Christmas and even though he is way to little for it he was cracking me up with the faces he was making at it.

I love the pj's that Jack's aunt Carrie sent him so much that I had to put them on here!
Jack has changed so much just in the past week! Yesterday morning I was being a bad mom and put him in his little bouncy chair and put him by the window so he could look outside because I needed to email Josh and he was so happy. He just entertained himself and it was so cute. I'm going to go on and apologize for my stupid mommy voice, but he loves it.

He is developing such a funny personality and now when he sleeps he puts his hand up to hold in his bink. This is the same baby that hated the bink and I had to keep forcing it in! lolol He still doesn't like to take it during the day but I am really trying to make it his best friend.
I go to a new parent support group on post and it is a lot of fun! I have made a lot of good friends there that are going through the same thing I am! Here are some pics from our Christmas party this week.

Christmas with Daddy
After Church we tried getting pictures by the tree but Jack doesn't like to cooperate so he isn't looking at the camera. I love the one of Jack and Josh. It cracks me up every time I look at it.
Since Josh was leaving we celebrated Christmas last Sunday. I know Jack isn't going to remember any of it but I wanted pictures! lolol
I can't believe how fast my little man is growing. Last week we went to the clinic and he was 11 pounds and 3 oz and 24 inches long.

Today Josh blessed Jack and we were so glad that his family could be here. It was such a great day. I am so grateful for our church and eternal families.

So we have been home a week now and finally getting into a routine. Jack is amazing. He sleeps pretty much all night in his pack-n-play and only wakes up twice to eat. He pretty much sleeps all the time. I know I shouldn't complain but I love it when he is awake because he is so alert and loves looking around and I love to just watch him. lolol I love this first picture cause he totally has Josh's "stare"

We are home
It feels so good to be home! It has been a rough week since Josh couldn't stay at the hospital over night and our little man likes to get wide eyed at 12:30 every night! Then he likes to cry the rest of it! lolol We are getting that under control though. Please keep us in your prays, especially ME!! lolol

A girl I worked with at the school found out she was pregnant the same time I did and our due dats were like a week apart but they induced her early cause they kept telling her that the baby was big. Anyway, She delivered 7 hrs after me and we were roomies. It was really nice. This is a picture of Ashlynn and Jack.
