Happy 8th Birtday Jack!

Jack turned 8 on a Friday so I took treats to his class during lunch time. He requested the cookie cakes from shoppers.
Josh was away on a work trip for his birthday but was able to come home for a few hours on Sat for his birthday party. For the past few years he has gotten the boys something just from him for their birthdays and they love getting that gift. This year he got Jack a camera set, kinda like a go pro but not as expensive ;), so he can start recording all the cool stuff he does. He wrote a card that he gave him with it that said "Jack, live your life so amazing that others would watch."  Jack loved it!

Jack wanted an army themed party this year so I made a camo cake. I had never done anything like this before but it turned out really good.

His party was a lot of fun. We had a full house! Josh set up an amazing obstacle course in the back yard, not sure why I don't have any pics of it :/, but the kids had a blast playing on it. It even started raining and they kept going for a while then all came inside and played.

October 2017

On Oct 2nd for family home evening we spray painted pumpkins with glow in the dark paint after putting vinyl on them so when we took the vinyl off you would see the picture in the dark. I got this great idea off of pinterest  and Kelly had let me borrow her Cricut last year so I had the supplies to do it. Although the glow in the dark paint didn't work out to well it got me in the crafting mood and made me want a Cricut LOL I'll have to work on Josh for a little bit cause they are really expensive. Well, the one I want is anyway ;)

On Oct 6th we did our annual trip to fright fest at Kings dominion!

Oct 8th we went with our neighbors to Wade's bay on the Potomac and spent the day. There are all kinds of shark teeth that the kids and adults had a ball finding.

By the middle of the month it's starting to cool off so we are doing lots of fires in the back yard.
We had our first Super Saturday in our Ward on Oct 19th and I made this cute give thanks decoration

Josh took his last wake board ride on Oct 21st.
After that we took our last boat ride of the season and went to Tim's for dinner.

On Oct 21st Kristi and I went to the Expo center in DC to a craft fair. We went last year too and they have all kinds of great stuff. I decided to get our parents ornaments with all their grandkid's names on them. It's so funny looking at my mom's compared to Josh's mom's. I didn't have the order of the kids for Sandy's right then so Kristi took it home and wrote them in once I got them.
Halloween was another great event in Harbor View this year. The boys wore their Army uniforms and asked Josh to wear his as well. :) I got my fat girl outfit out of the attic and we were off!

Jack's Baptism Pictures

This is a big year for Jack. He will be turning 8 in November and he has decided to get baptized. He is so excited and we are going to go to Idaho and do it so our family can be a part of it. He couldn't wait to go to the Temple and take pictures for his invitations we are going to mail out.

This was his favorite. He thought the black doors at the Temple were so awesome!

September 2017

We celebrated Josh's birthday with our neighbors this year and it was a lot of fun. He was surprised how many people came over for cake. :) We had the Beauregard's, Meckley's, Sand's Salzer's, and the Chavez's

On Sept. 15th I let the boys skip school to go watch Josh jump! They were so excited and it was a lot of fun.

They really enjoyed going with Josh after and watching the video and pics that the guys took from the air.

Here are some more fun pics from Sept. Sophie had never ridden the bus before but she started in the mornings sometimes this fall.
It's football season so that means the display is out in food lion that the boys love haha

Fun with Dad's jump gear on the way to Lowe's
