Tonight we went to my friends house for a Christmas party. I absolutely love the girls I work with. I decided I would try to make a cheese ball so I got online and looked up recipes. I found one that sounded good and I loved that it looked liked a gift so I decided to try to make it. I think it turned out really good and everyone at the party loved it and said it was really good. So I'm showing off my first cheese ball :)
Last week during recess we went out and took pictures of the class and let them play in the snow. They had so much fun! Sydnee wanted a picture of just me and her. She is so sweet.

Sledding!!!!!!
We bought a sled a few weeks ago but today was the first day we used it. It snowed all week and it was so beautiful but Josh was gone so I didn't get to play in it until today. We had a lot of fun. I love it over here! Except for the fact that my husband is gone all the time, but like he reminds me everyday, I knew what I was getting in to! He is leaving again tomorrow so I will have another lonely week but I am thankful he got to spend the day at home today.

Our First Two Ornaments
These are our very first ornaments as a family! We decided we would get two a year and gradually get rid of all the pink ones. These are our first two.
Front
Back
This one says Our First Christmas in German. We thought it was appropriate.

My Weekend Project
Thursday I went to the doctor AGAIN for these stupid urinary problems! After me basically yelling at him and telling him something has to be wrong because I have had at least 6 of these things in the past few months and I just finished 10 days of Septra and two days later I'm hurting again. And I mean PAIN!!!!!! My back hurts so bad that I can't even stand up straight. Anyway he took an x-ray and sure enough I have a kidney stone! So I didn't go to work on Friday but I got to felling a little better around 3:00 so I decided I'm home alone I'm going to sew. I made these candy canes for the girls I work with.

Stuttgart Christmas Market
Tonight we went downtown to the Christmas Market. It was really beautiful. All the buildings are decorated in lights. They had the market set up by one of the big castles in Stuttgart. We have been looking for a good ornament for our first Christmas together and we found it tonight. We also found a pink ornament to add to our tree. I love the holidays, and Josh will to, even though he says he is the grinch!!!!!!

Our first day of skiing!!!
Today we went to Feldberg Germany and went skiing. This was the first time I have ever put ski's on in my life so I spend most of the day on my BUTT!!!!! I thought it might be easy cause when we were going up the lift I was thinking this seems easy enough. I guess I should explain why I thought this. The lifts were different than anything Josh had ever seen. You didn't sit in them you had to stand there and let it swing around and then a little black pole would hit your butt and you held on to the pole and it drug you up the hill. Then at the top you had to swing yourself off. Well, I fell flat on my butt getting off. Thank goodness there wasn't anyone behind us cause they would have hit me! lolol I think it took us about 2 1/2 hrs to come down the first mountain! I just kept thinking poor Josh cause I knew he wanted to be skiing all fast and we were stopping every few feet cause I would hit the ground. We did get a good video of me though. I was really excited I didn't wipe out on it. hahah I know my hip is going to be bruised tomorrow. I can't wait to go again!!!!!

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and I wish we were there to eat Turkey will all of you!!!!!!!

Christmas!!!!!!!!
After weeks of begging, Josh finally let me put the Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving! I am sooooo excited. Usually I have my tree up the first week of November. I have to tell you though that putting it up really made me miss my friends! I kept thinking about my first Christmas in Fayetteville and Sheena and how much fun we had shopping for the pink ornaments. I really missed Kristi and Paula cause it was Kristi’s job to fluff the tree and Paula put the ornaments on and I did the lights while rocking out to 80’s rock band’s singing Christmas carols! I also miss having to force Kelly over to my house to see the finished product! I miss you girls so much we really did have a good thing going there! Maybe one day we will all live in walking distance again, heck it will be nice to be in driving distance!!!!!! I’m really missing my family also. This will be my first Christmas not in WV! But I won’t get to sad cause I have my great husband and my PINK Christmas tree to remind me of all the good memories! I was worried Josh wouldn’t like the pink decorations and make me change it but then I realized he is WAY to cheap to let me buy new ones! Hahaha this is one time I am glad of that!
This is all the decorations I brought with us!
This is our early gift from my mom for our first Christmas together! I love it. It is so beautiful!
