These are pictures from Christmas Eve 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. It's funny cause I was pregnant in the first one then Annie in the next, Mariana next, and Sam we just didn't know it yet, and this year Annie is pregnant. Our families have grown so much over these four years. I love these girls and will miss spending Christmas Eve with them.

My little Scrooge!

Santa!

We went to the mall the other day and the first thing we saw was this train driving around so of course my boys had to ride it but since they were under 4 yrs old I had to ride it with them.
I loved just watching Jack during the whole ride because he was so happy and had this look of amazement on his face the entire time.
                                                          Kaleb had fun too :)

Next we got to meet Santa!! I was afraid Kaleb wasn't going to get up there since he wasn't feeling well but he did and they both had a great visit with him.  Jack told him he wants a chug patrol ( that's a train from the show Chuggington) and Kaleb just says presents LOL

Snow Day!

We finally got some snow that stuck this year. The boys were so excited and played out on the deck all afternoon.

Last weekend we went up to Woodland Park to their parade of lights with the Lewis family. Before the parade we had dinner at Wendy's and the kids found an interesting way to play with the happy meal toy.

The parade was so much fun and somebody was way excited about the candy they were handing out!

Last Monday Jack was watching planes on the iPad and when I got out of the shower I found him like this. I thought right then I hope he isn't getting sick.  Welp I was right. He had a terrible next few days.

Dec 11th was Sam's 30th Birthday so we took her to dinner at a fabulous greek restaurant. It was so delicious!! As my time is winding down here in Colorado things like this make me so sad.  I love these girls so much and knowing that I won't be here celebrating this time next year makes me really sad.

Sadly Josh was only home for 3 days but we really enjoyed our visit. Then it was back to reality. Kaleb went to the dentist with Jack for the first time.  He did so great! He was very cooperative and when they asked if he could open wide he would say yep and open but as soon as they got their hands near his mouth he would close tight. haha we repeated this a few times then I finally held it open so she could polish then the dentist used his fingers instead of the tools to count his teeth. No cavities and he said they look great.

Tuesday Dec 4th we went to the widefield community center for the lighting of their Christmas tree. It was a lot of fun.  They had a room where the kids colored an ornament and they gave the kids cookies and of course Santa drove by and waived :)

Josh brought home these airplane kits and built them with the boys.  Jack wanted to mix yellow and red to make orate so he could name his plane Dusty and Kaleb painted his blue and called him Skipper. These boys love the movie Planes.

While we were trying to figure the train tracks out there was a knock on the door and Our Elf Willie came back home for the Christmas season!

So the train tracks didn't exactly fit around our tree so Josh only used some and made them connect but the train kept coming off track so he moved it into the kitchen.  I told him that it couldn't stay there all month so he bette figure out how to make it work around the tree.
He did :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We were so excited to pick Josh up at the airport Thanksgiving morning! We had an awesome day. I cooked dinner and we just hung out at home.  Jack had been wanting to put the tree up for weeks and I told him when daddy got home so there was no getting out of it.  We were so tired but Jack made sure we got it done.
It was Kalebs turn to put the star on the tree this year

We have been wanting to start Christmas traditions but we never could think of any so this year we decided since the boys Love trains we would get a Christmas train for around the tree. Needless to say they were so excited and loved it.  The next morning I woke up at 8:30 and thought Jack had slept in because usually he comes in and gets me when he gets up but when I got downstairs he was down there and already plugged in the tree and the lights and was just laying there watching the train :)

My Funny Boys

My boys have been cracking me up lately.

On the ride to soccer the other morning,
Jack: Kaleb, when I grow up I'm going to be a construction worker and build buildings, and houses, and best of all, fences!
Kaleb: wow Jack
Jack: Kaleb, when you grow up you're going to be a garbage man.
Kaleb: Yep.

This morning when I picked Jack up from preschool his teacher says "oh do I have a story for you" I was like uh o what did he do. She said they were doing a Thanksgiving craft and she was asking all of them what they were thankful for and Jack said "I'm thankful for my penis" LOL

We have going to stores and looking for stuff to put on our list for Santa and poor Kaleb just doesn't get it yet. He puts stuff in the cart and when I take it and put it back on the shelf he reaches for it and cries "my santa, my santa"

The other day Jack had a construction site and looked at me and said "mom I don't want to tell Santa about this we just need to pay for it now" LOL

I love that Kaleb's speech has exploded and Jack and him are having real conversations. They are so cute and Kaleb looks up to his big brother so much. He wants to do everything Jack does and he says everything Jack says and trust me Jack bosses him around and Kaleb is happy to comply :) One of my favorites is when Jack is bossing Kaleb he will say "got it Kaleb" and Kaleb says "Yep"

I put Kaleb to bed first at night then go and read to Jack and put him to bed. Well lately Kaleb hasn't been wanting to go to bed so this is what I find when I come out of Jack's room. He won't look me in the eye and he has his usual scowl on his face.  Also those are his buckets that he carries everywhere whit his favorite toys in them :)

My life would be so boring without these two! I love them so much!!

Waiting for their popcorn!!!

Happy 4th Birthday Jack!!

Jack was so excited for his birthday this year. Last night he told me "mom, after I lay down and take a little rest and wake up it will be my birthday. Right?" He is so funny. He is so smart too. I know I say it all the time but he really amazes me. He picks up on stuff so easily and does so well in preschool. I gave him the Thomas ribbon this morning and at church he would tell everyone he saw that he had that ribbon on cause it was his birthday :) We had a small party this afternoon and Annie, Amelia, Sam, Madison, McKenzie, Carson, Kristen, Maddy, Gavyn, Mar, Eli, and Geoff came and had pizza, cake and ice cream. I asked him last week what kind of cake he wanted and he said Thomas the train. He was so excited about that cake. He sit on the counter with it the first 30 min after I brought it home.  I'm so glad the kids could come celebrate with him. They have celebrated every birthday so far with him. This will be our last year in CO so I'm a little sad cause I know we won't have them at our party next year. Happy Birthday Jack!! Mommy and Daddy love you so much :)

This is a picture from Jack's first birthday party. The kids were decorating balloons. We have added quite a few since then :)
