PaRtY TiMe!!!!

I have truly been blessed with some amazing friends here and the best part is our husbands work together so we will probably always be stationed with each other!! My neighbor Sam is due July 8th so yesterday was her shower. Annie and I planned it and we were sooo excited!! Sam had no idea that we were decorating as much as we did!

Annie made her a scrapbook with pre-made pages so all she has to do is add the pictures
I made her this quilt and she almost cried when she opened it :)





There were more people there but we waited until some of them left to take our group pic cause this is the group that is always together!!! Especially Mariana, colorful necklace, Annie, purple dress, Sam, big belly lol, and I!!

So we didn't play stupid baby shower games but we did have an "activity" I embroidered outlines of things on these onsies and we made everyone at the shower decorate one for baby McKenzie. It was really fun!

hospital :(

Jack had to spend two nights in the hospital this week so they could run some tests on his stomach. Well, his specialist wanted two certain ones done but the hospital just did a contrast

x-ray that wouldn't show what he was looking for anyway! ugh Jack was so good though. He really is a tough baby and a good sport!

SuMmEr!!!!!

Yes the sun has finally found Germany!!! We are loving the weather and getting out and taking walks everyday! Thanks aunt Shanna for my cool sandals!!!

Drama King!! Jack is soooo dramatic with every move he makes and now he likes to move his arms and legs around and sometimes he smiles while doing it but most of the time he has his serious, Josh, face on. lol

Yeah he has it really hard :)

No Jack did not wet the bed that is from his head cause he is just like his dad and if he even looks at the sun he starts sweating! lol

Jack's new room!!!

This is Jack's old room, my closet, lol when we first found out we were having a baby we thought this would be perfect BUT.......the closet is between my bedroom and bathroom so after he goes to bed I can't go to the back of the house cause i don't want to wake him up. The big problem with this situation is I can't take late night baths, which I LoVe! So now that my mom is gone I did some rearranging

His changing table and pack and play used to be in my room also so I am so glad to have my space back to myself :)
I moved Jack's stuff to the guest bedroom. It is a little crowded but he is a baby and won't know the difference

Some New Things

Jack has started blowing bubbles nonstop his chin is ALWAYS covered in slobber lolol

I love how Jack has tons of toys but this is his fav today. Last week it was a box and a piece of ribbon, pink ribbon, his daddy would love that! lol

This is his new smile and it cracks me up. lol he just looks at you with that mouth wide open so excited.

I have been getting a lot of flack from people because I still sponge bath Jack. My neighbor laughs and says i'm going to be sponge bathing him when he is 12. Well, I'm proud to announce that the last two baths have been in the tub. He doesn't cry but the first time he just kept looking at me like what is this mom lol but last night he actually laughed a bit.

Two years ago today I married a man, who in a very short time, stole my heart and made me feel like I worth loving again! We have grown to be best friends and I'm looking forward to spending all eternity with him. Even though we are celebrating our anniversary miles apart, and out of these 24 months we have only been together 11 of them, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you babe!

Jack's big accomplishment!!!

This month Jack has slowly but surely been recognizing his bink and putting it in his own mouth. He is getting really good and sometimes he even does it in his sleep, which saves me a trip to his room :) I had to post this video because sometimes he gets it in his mouth but doesn't realize he has to let go of the strap. It cracks me up!!!

What am I going to do with this boy????

Jack is officially MOBILE!!!! He gets all over the place. The other day I was on the computer and when I turned around this is what I found!

Happy Mother's Day

We spent the day exploring a castle and taking a cruise on the Rhine River and looking at all the beautiful castles. I was so I got to spend my first mother's day with my mom!

The owners of this one were rich Italians and when they moved out they left everything behind so that is why this castle is decorated.

Apparently the man was a big hunter because there were over 1200 antlers in the castle

Every rock in this floor was placed by hand. I would NOT want to have that Job!

Of course every time I get a hot meal in front of me Jack acts like we starve him so I was so hungry i didn't want to deal with him so i just gave him a piece of bread to chew on. This was the first real food he has had.
