I had my second Dr. appointment today. He said everything look really good and the baby is exactly the size it should be. I have to admit I was a little surprised. I thought this early in the pregnancy that all I would see was a little spec or something but I saw both arms and both legs and the heart beating. It was really amazing. I think the coolest part though was seeing the baby move. It is REALLY active. It just kept spinning it's arms and kicking it's legs. The doctor kept trying to wait till it was still to take the pic so we could see the arms and legs but it wouldn't stop moving the right side so they are a little blurry. Like I said I just didn't think I would be able to see it move yet so it was really cool!

Pay it Forward
I saw this on my friend Jamie's blog and thought It was great! With us being in Germany I'm so thankful for the blogs so we can keep in touch with everyone. I hope everyone will play along.
Pay it Forward
Here are the rules:
1.Be one of the first THREE bloggers to leave a comment on this post, which then entitles you to a handmade item from me - something crafty or yummy, who knows?! (I have a few ideas, but I'll try to tailor the item to the posters who win.)
2. Winners must post this challenge on your blog, meaning that you will Pay It Forward by creating a handmade gift -anything!- for the first THREE bloggers who leave a comment on YOUR post about this giveaway!
3. The gift that you send to your 3 friends can be from any price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item. This means you should be willing to maintain your blog at least until you receive your gift and have shipped your gifts. And, remember - It’s the spirit and the thought that count!
4. When you receive your gift, please feel free to blog about it, sharing appropriate Linky Love! If you are not one of the top three commenters on this post, you can still play along. Go ahead and start your own Pay It Forward chain, and encourage your blogging friends to do the same!

Decorating!
So Josh has been gone for FIVE weeks now and I'm missing him sooooo much! He is coming home this weekend for 2 days so I wanted to do some things to make this place feel more like home and not just a temporary place. My neighbor's husband is gone also so we have been alternating dinner nights so tonight she came up and I made salmon and we hung pictures. It looks so good in here.
My mom bought me these wall words for my birthday
My mother in law made me this beautiful frame for my birthday
I put this frame together of our wedding pictures and I am so excited to get it up

Our Weekend in the Alps
This weekend was a three day so I went down to Garmisch to visit Josh. I was so excited to see him you would have thought I hadn't seen him in months. He must have been missing me too cause I told him that if he wanted he could get the hotel for Sat and Sun night and I would just come down early Sat morning and stay till Monday evening and that way we only had to pay for two nights instead of three. So you can imagine my surprise when he told me a few days later that he got the hotel for all three nights! Since Josh's order's say he has to ski once a week, what a tough job, we went Saturday. This was my second day skiing! I did really good. I didn't fall as much and I was making the turns, I was ready to toot my own horn THEN Josh tells me the only way off the mountain was to ride the lift back down or ski off a harder hill and there was no way in H@!! that we were riding the lift down so really our only option was skiing down the straight down hill of ICE!!! Needless to say by the time we got to the bottom I wanted to kill him! I told him I had no business on that mountain and I was never skiing with him again!!! Yes we almost had our first fight!!!!!!! lolololol Anyway, I made it down alive and after a long nap and a hot shower I wasn't mad anymore. Sunday we went for a hike in the Alps to this beautiful canyon. The water was so blue and clear. The ice sickles were amazing! Then that night we went to a Bavarian restaurant with Bavarian dancing. It was cool. They had like 10 year old boys slap dancing while we ate. I really don't like German food but it was still fun.

Happy Birthday to me!
I thought being away from my family for my birthday would be hard especially since Josh is gone, but I had a really good day! It started off rough because one of the girls I work with got news yesterday that her mom is in the hospital with her brain bleeding. I watched her as she went on with her day keeping busy and working hard. It reminded me of myself when dad got sick. I asked her if her mom was awake and talking and she told me yes and she was wondering if she should go home and I told her yes cause I didn't get to say goodbye to my dad and it was really hard. I hope her mom isn't in the same situation as my dad and she gets better. Talking her made tears come to my eyes and I had to leave the room cause I knew I was going to start bawling and I didn't want to get her upset. Well, I did and we cried for a few minutes and did what we do and got back to work. After I brought the kids back from lunch the girls I work with were in the kitchen and threw me a surprise lunch. It was so nice, and I still don't know how the pulled it off without me finding out! They gave me a beautiful card, a yummy smelling candle, and a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure! I was so excited! Then at 2:00 right before we sent the little darlings home to their parents we had cake! The class sung me happy birthday! I love the kids in our class and all the people I work with!

Happy New Year!!!!!!
Apparently New Years in Germany is bigger than our 4th of July. We had been hearing fire crackers all day but about 10 till midnight we started hearing a lot of them so we decided to go out on our porch and look and this is what was going on. This is our neighbors letting off fireworks. The whole village was doing it. It was so beautiful and the best part was I didn't even have to get out of my pj's to see it! I hope you all are having a wonderful and safe new year! We miss you!!!!!!!
